21/07/2026 ** SUPPORT CARE WORKER REQUIRED – LEARNING DISABILITY**

Full time support care worker required for a small unique rural care home for adults with Learning Disabilities aged 18-65. Ellershaw House is situated between Grewelthorpe and Kirkby Malzeard within 14 acres so own transport is required.

We currently look after 11 residents with varying needs; empowering their independence, promoting and maintaining their life skills and ensuring they are treated as equals; so if you enjoy baking, gardening, looking after horses and being involved with riding, walking, swimming, helping in the house or have your own hobbies, these can be useful to bring to our organisation.

All experience levels can apply as support will be given because we recruit based on the following values – caring, empathy, respect, dignity, patience, inclusivity and having a person-centred approach to support.

Each day is varied and the staff team need to be flexible as plans do change quickly so we look for a team players.
